This is my last post as club president (I'm both happy and sad...)
We had a great evening and a great turnout - 32 people including 24 Rotarians and guests were served an excellent dinner by Jon Braaten and crew at the Abbey Inn!
Special guests District Governor Glade Hamilton and his wife Vicki attended with Glade presenting the District Club of the Year Banner along with the RI Presidential Citation Certificate. It was an honor and privilege to have them attend our club's installation dinner and it was an honor and privilege to serve with him this year.
The outgoing board was recognized for their service with certificates of appreciation. Egor and Melanie are going off the board.
Egor, Lil and Teri were recognized for perfect attendance this last year.
Susi was recognized for her public outreach efforts.
Carrie Haas was recognized as Rookie Rotarian of the Year for her participation in club activities.
Lil was thoroughly surprised when recognized as Rotarian of the Year.
The new board was installed with Angie (Youth Director) and Brooke (Treasurer) as the 2 new members.
Tim took the oath of office as incoming president and I passed the gavel to him. He made a few remarks regarding goals for next year.
Tim presented a plaque to me in recognition for my service as President.
Assistant Governor Egor presented the new Rotary Theme (Rotary Serving Humanity) banner and pins for each member to Tim.
For those of you who weren't there we missed you and you missed a great evening!
